Dr. Shilpi Shah has fifteen years experience in ophthalmology in the UK and India.
During her ten year tenure in the UK, She has obtained the membership of the royal college of ophthalmologists and has gained clinical, academic and surgical skills.
Currently, She works as a consultant retina specialist at I Sight Retina centre in Ahmedabad, India. Her special areas of interest are medical retina, uveitis and retinopathy of prematurity.
She has vast experience in diagnosing and managing diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular disorders, age related macular degeneration, hereditary retinopathies and retinal dystrophies.
She has been part of the largest telemedicine network for screening of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in western India. She is well verse with conventional laser as well as newer intravitreal treatment for ROP.
